Public Relations Officer – CY21720

Almond Recruitment, on behalf of our client, a multi award-winning financial services group founded over twenty years ago, have a fantastic opportunity for a Public Relations Officer to join their Limassol office. The company is regarded as one of the international leaders within the financial market who continue to expand operations on a global scale. The successful candidate will report to the Head or PR and will be responsible for expanding the company’s brand locally. Duties

• Monitor the company’s online presence and take appropriate action where necessary
• Create and review media content (Press Releases, Interviews etc) in a clear, professional and SEO friendly manner
• Coordinate the distribution of online content
• Liaise with external agencies and suppliers
• Maintain existing media relations and develop new contacts within the industry
• Assist with event planning and organising
• Prepare monthly activity reports
• Assist with any other tasks as required

Requirements

• Degree in Public Relations, Advertising, Marketing, Journalism, or any other related field
• Previous experience in a Public Relations role – industry experience in Forex/ FinTech industry is an advantage but not a must
• Fluent in English and Greek
• Additional languages will be considered as an advantage
• Ability to multitask and to meet strict deadlines
• Attention to detail and good proof-reading skills
• Positive attitude
• Ability to work well as a part of a team
• Outstanding communication skills (writing and speaking)
• Excellent command of Microsoft Office
