Almond Recruitment, on behalf of our client, a CySEC licensed investment firm in Nicosia, have an excellent opportunity for a Payments Specialist to join their professional company. The successful candidate will head up the payments function of the company and will be responsible for data entry/data verification, enabling or disabling trading accounts, client deposits and withdrawals, reconciliations, and other miscellaneous tasks.   • Manage day-to-day processing of deposits and withdrawals requests, including liaising with any required department of the Company and carrying out all positive actions so as to process the requests accordingly.
  • Prepare and communicate with clients or Customer Service regarding correctly completed Credit Card declarations and Withdrawal Instructions required to process withdrawals.
  • Prepare account statements that shall need to be shared with clients upon their request.
  • Reconcile daily and monthly activity, generating reports as and when required by the COO/CEO and the company’s internal Accountant.
  • Implement the company’s procedures and processes for the prevention of Money Laundering (ML) and Terrorist financing (TF).
  • Adhere to the Company’s policies and procedures when assessing prospective clients applications for the opening of a trading account.
  • Attend training(s) and to have interest in developing relevant knowledge, techniques and skills.
  • Liaise with and carrying out communication in relation to opted chargeback disputes.
  • Respond to and follow-up withdrawal and deposit enquiries received by clients.
  • Assist the AMLCO with necessary information that shall assist to respond to any requests and queries received from Competent Authorities.
  • Remain vigilant in respect of monitoring the transactions of clients and take actions where necessary if the client fails to comply. (i.e. disable from deposits and/ or trades)



  • Previous experience within payments in the fintech industry
  • Holder of CySEC Advanced or AML certificate will be considered an advantage
  • High fluency in English
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong sense of professionalism, organization and analytical skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet daily deadlines
  • Good knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft tools
  • Attention to detail and procedures
  • Knowledge of Risk Management will be considered an advantage.
