Junior Accountant – CY21728

Almond Recruitment, on behalf of our client, an international legal firm, are currently looking for a Junior Accountant to join their Limassol office. The firm provides a number of professional services to their clients and continue to constantly expand. The successful candidate will be joining a large and high calibre accounting department. Responsibilities

• Maintaining and updating accounting records via accounting software SAP
• Executing bank transfers/purchases requisitions
• Preparing and maintaining ad-hoc reports

• Managing VAT & VIES registration and submission, filing, and all related tasks

• Liaising with banks and be responsible for bank related matters
• Managing the petty cash ad responsible for Reconciliation
• Liaising with creditors and debtors
• Bookkeeping of other group of companies
• Maintaining accounts receivable, document bills and supporting documentation
• Maintaining accounts payable, ensuring timely payment of invoices
• Updating financial records via accounting software
• Analysing financial statements and preparing balance sheets

 

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting or LCCI Higher/AAT/ CAT
• Previous work experience in a similar position is an advantage
• Time management and Reporting Skills
• Enthusiastic team player who enjoys being part of a team
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively
• Strong work ethics, positive attitude, and professional and confidential approach
• Good command of the Greek and English language
