International Tax Manager – CY21905

Almond Recruitment, on behalf of our client, a holding company of a large international group of companies engaged in various sectors across Europe, have a fantastic opportunity for a Tax Manager. The successful candidate will report to the Group Head of Tax and will be required to assist in developing and executing tax projects that will enhance the group’s performance and compliance with laws and regulations. Responsibilities

• Proactively monitor local and international tax developments
• Ensure compliance with local and international legislations
• Support with both local and international tax compliance and group reporting obligations
• Advise on mandatory disclosure rules and prepare country-by-country reports
• Assist on transfer pricing matters including preparation of master and local files
• Maintain effective control procedures over all aspects of the tax process
• Coordinate tax policies and procedures
• Assist in the execution of various business initiatives and projects
• Liaise and coordinate with other departments and group entities in various jurisdictions
• Assist on the development of tax systems and processes
• Identify opportunities to improve tax efficiency and effectiveness (e.g., automation)
• Complete tasks in accordance with work schedules and deadlines
• Assist with local taxes queries, reviewing tax returns and ensure tax filing obligations are met

 

Requirements

• University Degree in Business Administration, Accounting and Finance or in a related field
• ACCA or ACA qualification is a must
• 5+ years of similar experience in an international company or relevant experience in international tax advisory
• Overseas international tax experience will be considered as a big advantage
• Strong understanding of international tax concepts including OECD BEPS actions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Self-motivated and used to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
• Highly reliable, trustworthy, and loyal personality
• Strong analytical, conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills with great attention to details
