Almond Recruitment on behalf of our client, a leading accounting firm, are currently looking for an HR Officer to join their offices in Nicosia. This would be a fantastic opportunity to work with an extremely strong and well-established firm.

 

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening candidates, conducting initial interviews, and coordinating hiring efforts with relevant departments.
  • Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements, including management of databases and paperwork.
  • Provide counselling on policies and procedures to staff.
  • Be actively involved in HR projects, such as organizing training sessions and workshops.
  • Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations and organizational policies.
  • Supervise the onboarding and orientation process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases, ensuring confidentiality and data security.
  • Stay abreast of HR trends and developments, recommending innovative solutions to enhance HR processes and practices.
  • Perform GDPR procedures and ensure that all data is processed in compliance with the principles of lawfulness, fairness and transparency.
  • Plan and coordinate onboarding process to ensure a smooth induction of the new employees.
  • Be up to date with any new developments related to human resources such as trends, best practices, regulatory changes and new technologies.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Officer, Administrator, or other HR position.
  • At least 2 years of related experience
