Duties

  • Responsible for the organisation and management of the Accounting Department, ensuring the correct bookkeeping of transactions and proper filling of accounting documents
  • Supervising the work of bookkeepers
  • Offer support in accounting, taxation, and financial matters to the Company’s Management, providing reports monthly as requested, and determine / implement the Company’s financial planning, including the annual budgeting
  • Implementation of the Internal Regulations and procedures of the Company for the Accounting Department and ensuring that all department staff are up to date with them
  • Provision of accurate and timely reporting regarding statutory requirements to the competent authorities, regarding among others customer’s funds, investor compensation funds and capital adequacy requirements
  • Preparation of financial statements in accordance with International Accounting Standards and cooperation with the external auditors of the Company for the audits of the Company financial statements
  • Assisting in Controlling the Subsidiaries of the group
  • Review of client money reconciliations and ensuring regulatory requirements around client money rules are met
  • Assisting with daily client money calculation
  • Reviewing and assisting in execution of payroll if needed

 

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting and Finance or any other relevant field
  • ACA or ACCA qualified is a must
  • Solid experience in a Senior Accounting/Finance or managerial role within the Forex industry
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Excel (formulas, spreadsheet formulation)
  • Previous experience with CySEC reports will be considered as an advantage
  • Experience in SAP Business One will be considered an advantage
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience in a high-volume transaction environment
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to manage a team and meet tight deadlines
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task
