Front-end Development Team Lead – CY21960

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of frontend developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, ensuring their professional growth and development
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to translate business requirements into scalable frontend solutions
• Architect, develop, and maintain highly performant and reusable code using React and Next.js
• Drive the adoption of best practices, coding standards, and development methodologies within the team
• Conduct code reviews, ensuring code quality, maintainability, and adherence to industry standards
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code using responsive design
• Ensure that web applications are fully responsive, accessible, and cross-browser compatible
• Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Monitor performance metrics (KPIs) such as website response time
• Guide test cases for QA engineer for E2E and integration tests
• Participate in incidents review and their root cause analysis, identifying process issues and planning preventive measures
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to frontend development

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in frontend web development
• At least 1 year in a team lead/management role
• Proficiency in React and Next.js understanding of their core principles and best practices
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with modern frontend web technologies such as React, Vue.js, or Angular
• Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
• Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) and backend integration using RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with build tools, package managers, and version control systems (e.g., Webpack, npm, Git)
• Experience with testing frameworks
• Understanding of QA practices
• Knowledge of UI/UX design principles, incl Figma
• Good written and verbal English communication skills
• Russian communication skills are an advantage but not a must

• Previous experience within the fintech industry is a big advantage
