Financial Controller – CY21686

Almond Recruitment, on behalf of our client, a large and international real estate company, are currently looking for a Financial Controller to join their Larnaca office. Responsibilities

• Organizing and managing a team of accountants in recording the group’s transactions
• Reviewing quarterly reports and reporting to management
• Organizing and monitoring the audit process of the group companies
• Liaising with the other offices abroad, auditors and external advisors
• Providing support to controllers on complex issues
• Working under strict deadlines

Requirements

• ACCA or ACA Qualified
• University degree in accounting or equivalent
• Previous and demonstrable Managerial experience is essential
• Previous experience in financial control across a group of companies or a similar position
• Fluent in English (other languages will be an advantage)
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and high level of responsibility
• Knowledge of auditing practices and principles
• Knowledge of local corporate practice
• Proactive individual, who works independently and/or within a team, takes own initiatives and manages/leads the process
• Understands and appreciates time sensitive engagements
