Responsibilities

  • Opening of both Local & Foreign bank accounts
  • Filling of the bank account opening documents
  • On -going communication with Banks for the effective bank account opening
  • Preparation and uploading of payments.
  • Reviewing of supporting documentation and the nature of payment in line with the payment request
  • Preparation of outward and inward declarations for the submission to the Banks
  • Assisting in payment approvals and collation of signatures.
  • Follow up on the payment execution.
  • Confirmation that payment has been effectively processed through the debit advice and statements
  • Overseeing both inward and outward transaction movement through on-going monitoring.

 

Other Banking Matters

  • Handling of the banking signing mandates
  • Handling of any other bank requests such as FATCA/CRS and Bank’s review of records
  • Request for bank statements
  • Request for bank’s audit reports
  • Credit/Debit card applications and any relative queries
  • Application for Term deposit accounts.
  • Updating of internal schedules
  • Other related ad/hoc duties as may be assigned from time to time

 

Requirements

  • Degree in Banking & Finance or equivalent professional qualification would be an advantage
  • 2-year experience in a Administration role or similar position is essential
  • Banking experience or Financial Services would be an advantage
  • Fluency in oral and written in English is essential and Maltese would be an advantage
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
